A PDF editor that runs in your browser

PDF Partner edits PDF files without uploading them. Your document is opened, changed and written back out inside this browser tab, so a contract, invoice or passport scan never reaches a server. There is no account to create and no watermark on what you export.

Edit text already in the PDF

Click a line of existing text and rewrite it, or clear the box to delete it. Size, font and colour are read from the document, so the replacement matches what was there.

Annotate, highlight and redact

Add text boxes and images, draw freehand, highlight passages, and black out anything sensitive. Redacted pages are flattened on export, so the text underneath is destroyed rather than just covered.

Reorder, merge and convert

Drag pages to reorder, rotate or delete them, merge several PDFs, pull pages out into a new file, add watermarks and page numbers, crop margins, fill in forms, and export pages as JPG or the text as Markdown.

Is it really free?: Yes. There is no sign up, no page limit and no watermark.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?: No. Everything happens in your browser. The file never leaves your machine, which is why it also works with no internet connection once the page has loaded.
Can I edit a scanned PDF?: Scans are images, so there is no text layer to rewrite. You can still add text on top, annotate and reorder the pages.
Which browsers work?: Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a desktop or laptop.
